Daniel joined Dwyer Durack in March 2018 as a Lawyer in our Succession Department after having worked at Bowen Buchbinder Vilensky Lawyers from 2015 to early 2018.
He graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in April 2014 and completed the College of Law’s Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice of in late 2014. He was admitted as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 22 December 2014. Prior to practising as a Lawyer, Daniel undertook legal work experience for just under a year with Dr John Hockley at Francis Burt Chambers.
Daniel primarily practises in the area of Wills and Succession Law, including both contentious and non-contentious probate matters (including applications pursuant to the Family Provision Act) and has an interest in probate law and English legal history.
Daniel has presented papers in seminars on various topics in the area of probate and succession law, has published a number articles in the Australian Property Law Journal and is a contributor to the 2nd edition of the Australian Legal Dictionary and the 5th edition of the Concise Australian Legal Dictionary.
Daniel is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia’s Elder Law and Succession Committee and is also a sessional tutor for the Succession Law unit at the University of Western Australia.
