A medical negligence claim may exist if treatment provided to you by a health care provider such as a doctor, hospital, dentist, pharmacist, physiotherapist falls below the standard of treatment that you would be entitled to expect from the health care provider and in some cases where the health care provider failed to warn you of risks associated with the treatment you undertook. Medical treatments are not always successful and sometimes have complications. This does not mean that the health care provider was negligent.
